Over the last few days I’ve been sat playing with Readdle docs, one of the best looking applications for a while. We’ve reported on the updates before but we’ve never had a chance to finally review it until now.

Our first impressions simply didn’t disappoint. For those of you that don’t know, ReaddleDocs is a document manager system, allowing you to read, save and share email attachments as well as documents you might throw over to it over wifi.
The app is well polished, and simple to use. 5 buttons control the app, documents, network, browser, attachments and settings. Documents allows you to view any downloaded files as well a pictures you have on your iphone, network allows you to browse any webdav drives that may be on your network and it allows you to add internet services such as mobileme, dropbox, google docs and more.
The browser element is quite simple, allowing you to go to any website and save it so you can share the page or email it.
Attachments allows you to connect to emails and do much the same. It’s a gloriously simple application.
Essentially all ReaddleDocs is, is a file viewer, it’s not complicated, but it does allow you to add bookmarks, share and print the files (through an additional print n share application) It’s also a world class PDF viewer allowing you to search through documents at the tap of a button as well as add bookmarks. It’s a file storage application as well, allowing you to carry the documents with you like a quick reference manual. Couple it with apples copy and paste feature and you’ve got a winner.
It’s hard to write a review about an application so simple, but what I can say is that even though it’s simple, it does it’s job perfectly and definitely a keeper. Priced at £2.99 it’s one of the more expensive applications about but it’s worth it!
