So the mockup isn’t exactly very good, but it would be a whole lot easier if apple could do this for iPhone OS 4 and it’s applications. They don’t even have to run in background, just show push notifications from applications like mail, SMS, Facebook, twitter. It would be a whole lot easier when I pull the phone out of my pocket to see if there are things to deal with.

Maybe it’s a bit to blackberry for some, but it’s certainly an interesting prospect, since if you get a single push notification there is no other way to see text messages or emails from your lock screen. It might be picky since you can unlock the screen just with a swipe… so what’s your thoughts on this? Apple? care to wager a response?
